The British Library holds a variety of books which are available for lending. There is also a reference section. They also host some exhibitions and also have reading rooms. Admission is free.

Doctor Williams’s Library stock a variety of theological literature with an emphasis on English Protestant nonconformity.
The German Historical Institute is a reference library stocking books, journals, periodicals and manuscripts charting the political relationship between Germany and Great Britain through the ages.
Camden Town Library has a variety of books for lending. They also hire out videos, cassettes, CDs and audio-visual material. Internet access is also available. They also have free membership for the loaning of books. Charges for hiring out videos and cassettes apply.
Holborn Library stock a wide variety of adult and children’s books on many topics as well as videos, CDs and cassettes. They also provide Internet access for members and a photocopier is available for all.
Westminster Libraries specialise in a range of books available for hire ranging from fact to fiction. Charing Cross Library has special sections on Chinese books and recorded music.
